Daan Myngheer: World of cycling mourns 2nd Belgian death

Cyclist Daan Myngheer, aged 22, has passed away in hospital after he suffered a heart attack during the first stage of the Criterium International in Corsica.

He is the second cyclist from Belgium to die in as many days after cyclistAntoine Demoitie was hit by a motorbike during Gent-Wevelgem race.

Myngheer, who turned pro last year, was in an induced coma. In a statement, his team told that he lost his last race after fighting like a champ.
